The course combines hands-on experience through farm visits, where students can complete Logbooks and gain validation from visited farmers, with two subsequent days of online theoretical sessions and workbook completion. Students can schedule a farm visit to the Agri Skills Transfer farm to gain practical exposure, ensuring they acquire well-rounded expertise in plant production. An alternative option allows remote students to complete Logbooks and receive validation from visited farmers, ensuring inclusivity. This dual approach ensures a comprehensive understanding of plant production, equipping participants to excel in their farming endeavors. Importantly, the course is tailored for generic plant production, making it suitable for a wide range of crop ventures, from cabbage and tomatoes to saffron, avocados, maize, herbs, citrus, grains, and more. The skills and knowledge acquired in this program are invaluable for optimising crop production and increasing the potential for success in the agricultural industry.
